John & Sue Sala began their career as a Wild Bird Center franchisee in April 2003 when they purchased the Timonium, MD Wild Bird Center franchise operation. Since then they have become multiple store owners and are excellent at employing the Wild Bird Center system to their best advantage. When asked how they chose Wild Bird Centers, they say:

Wild Bird Feeding Industry
The Wild Bird Feeding Industry (WBFI) is an association dedicated to the progressive expansion of the wild bird and backyard wildlife feeding industry. As the voice of the industry, it accomplishes this mission by serving the interests of its members through promoting responsible feeding, creating alliances, removing barriers, and safeguarding gains.
WBCA Founder and President, George Petrides, Sr., serves on WBFI's Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Retailer Committee. He also serves as a Trustee of the WBFI Research Foundation and as Project Leader of "PROJECT WILDBIRD".
