Sally Litvin opened her first Wild Bird Center in Reading, PA in March 1998. She has since opened a second in Wayne, PA and has become a top sales earner in the franchise. Now running the operation with the help of her son, Jason Blaker, Sally is a consistent performer and has been an inspiration to new franchisees. She has this to say about the business:

From I-495 (Beltway) exit on Routes 301/5 south (Exit 7). Go 14 miles south on Rte 301/5 to where Rte 5 separates from Rte 301. Stay on Rte 301. "Shoppers World" is a quarter of a mile south of that split, on the left hand side. The Wild Bird Center is between Borders Books and Radio Shack.

From I-495:
Take Rte. 450 east, bear right on Lanham-Severn Road. The Center is five miles down, on the left, before the bridge into Old Bowie.
From Bowie/Crofton:
Follow Race Track Rdoad to Old Bowie. Turn right, cross the bridge and take an immediate right. The Center is on the corner.
From Laurel:
Drive south on 197 towards Bowie. Bear right on Old Laurel-Bowie Road. The Center is two to three miles down, on the right, just before the bridge into Old Bowie.
