Come and join us for our monthly birdwalk for beginner.
This birdwalk will start and end at the Wild Bird Center.
We strongly discourage participants who wish to bring their dog not to do so. This will ensure that all participants are happy and comfortable.
Audio calling is not recommended as it may cause unnecessary stress to birds and disrupt daily activities, particularly during breeding seasons.
Binoculars, Birding books, appropriate clothing and hat are recommended.

Song Sparrow, Bewick's Wren, Steller's Jay, Ring-necked duck, European Starling, Purple Finch, Red-Winged Black Bird, Barn Swallow, House Finch, Western Tanager, Anna's Hummingbird, American Robin, American Goldfinch, American Crow, Sharp-Shinned Hawk, Belted Kingfisher, Great Blue Heron, and Common Raven.
26 July - 24 species encountered on our walk:
Great Blue Heron, Wood Duck, Coopers Hawk, Merlin, Kildeer, Common Raven, Bushtit, Violet-green Swallow, Barn Swallow, Bewicks Wren, Winter Wren, American Robin, Cedar Waxwing, Orange-crowned Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Wilsons Warbler, Spotted Towhee, Song Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Red-winged Blackbird, Brown-headed Cowbird, Purple Finch, White-Crowned Sparrow and Pine Siskin.
