Books on Sonoma County Birds

We carry the Redwood Regional Ornithological Society's "Birds of Sonoma County California".  If you want to know who is a year round resident and/or when the migrants arrive, this is an excellent reference.

 We just received Madrone Audubon's "Sonoma County Breeding Bird Atlas".  There is a very cool transparent overlay of vegitation types or cities and major roads for each population map.  They have just started the new atlas which will be on line when finished.  Volunteers are needed.  Our Birding Organizations section will have the information.
