The Cold always reminds me of how fortunate it is to have a roof over our heads! Unfortunatetly the birds do not so i will give you a few tips on how to help our feathered friends! Of course lots of energy is necessary for them to stay warm so a variety of foods are important. Black Oil sunflower seed is packed with energy so offering a Birdwise Blend or Feederwise Blend is a great choice for all the birds. Suet is a great energy source as well there are many different types of feeders ranging in price starting around $4.99. They are very simple to put out in the yard even in all this blustery weather. Open water is also very important if you have an existing bath you can buy a de-icer that warms the water just above freezing so that the birds always have an open source of water which can be scarce when it is this cold. There are also baths that have built in De-icers that just require an outlet and extension cord. Stop by the store or shop online to avoid the cold. By helping the birds you are helping yourself to enjoyment as well. Be careful and stay warm!!!
