Meet the Owner

Nancy Collins & Owen Yost are co-owners of this family-owned Wild Bird Center.

Owen is a licensed Landscape Archtect (emeritus) and columnist on natural landscaping for the Denton newspaper. He writes the store's newsletter, "Bird Poop", which you can get by letting us know by email.

Nancy is a Denton County Master Naturalist and a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. She also writes a regular column, on birdwatching, for the Denton newspaper; and speaks to local clubs and organizations.

Nancy is a native-born Texan, and Owen has lived here for all but the first few years of his life.
