Paradise Cove birdwalk

A Wednesday birdwalk along Paradise Cove Trail, in Southlake, starting at 8:00 a.m.(when the birds are most active). This hike is primarily to find north Texas’ true sparrows – there are about a dozen species. From 114, take Carroll Ave northward until it runs into Burney Lane. Turn right on Burney and follow it all the way to where it ends at the Paradise Cove Club. Park along the street. Please do not park in the Paradise Cove lot. Much of this hike is on pavement but some is through high weeds. So dress accordingly. Runs about 2-half hours depending on what we find. Field guides and binoculars are encouraged.
