Bushtits, giggle

In just the last two years, bushtits have been seen all over the metro area....only interesting because in the 15 years the store has been open, there were no reports of these guys until 2007.  AND,, that year we had a report and pictures of a nesting pair right in Denver.

So, got a call last week...bushtits at Havana and Orchard, but also many other reports. Hoping they stay on through the winter.

They want suet and peanuts..and seem partial to caged feeders, maybe for the protection. If you're in the store, ask to see the pictures we have.
