A gorgeous spring day. The water is just starting to open up which heralds the coming of the waterfowl. Keep those eyes peeled!

Evening Grosbeaks, 20 at 9000 ft in Boulder County 3/12/10.


 March 6, 2010.  Sunny and warm.  40°F. 0-5 mph.  13 participants.

The birds were singing and active. Spring is here (at least until the next big snow storm). We saw lots of territorial singing and some nest building by the magpies. We even watched a flicker excavating in a cottonwood. Lots of change in activity this month.

From 7:30 am (promptly) to 9:45 am (approximately)

Every Saturday year-round. No reservations required.  Every last Saturday of the month we travel further afield than normal and return a little later.  Bird walk locations are determined on the morning of the walk.
