If you are interested in learning more about owning a Wild Bird Center store, here are your next steps:
1. Contact our Home Office and request a copy of our Franchise Opportunity Guide and other introductory information we'll send you about our business. If you are a resident of Rhode Island or Hawaii, please call (800) WILDBIRD to speak with George Petrides, Jr., Director of Franchise Development, for further information about store placement in those states. Additional contact information is available here: Contact Us, or you may choose our Franchise Information Request Form for a quick response. Note: We usually respond to emailed requests for information by return email. If you use an email spam blocker filter, please add "georgejr at wildbird dot com" to your address book to allow incoming mail from his address. If you think our email response may be blocked, we suggest that you also provide a telephone contact number and mail address. Thank you!
2. If at all possible, visit some of our stores, and talk with the owners. (See the stores page for a complete listing of store locations and telephone numbers.) If you do, we request that you:
Remember, during your phone conversation or store visit, the manager or owner might have to place you on hold or ask you to wait a few minutes while they help customers... we appreciate your consideration!
3.When you decide that a Wild Bird Center is the right business for you, please complete the Franchise Candidate Application that is available on this site or will be included with your Franchise Opportunity Guide. The application does not place you under any obligation, but allows us to make an initial review of your candidacy as a prospective Wild Bird Center franchisee. Upon evaluation of your application, we may provide additional information about our company and this business to help you continue your preparations and begin the store planning process.
As your candidacy progresses, you will spend more time in discussion with Home Office staff who will help you with site selection, market analysis and securing financing. It typically takes from three to nine months to open your store. You will set your own pace, but the biggest factor is often the availability of an appropriate store location. Our Home Office team is ready to help you every step of the way!
This is not an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy a franchise. Any offer to sell a franchise will only be made after you have completed a franchise candidate application, have acknowledged receipt of our Uniform Franchise Offering Circular and have qualified to purchase a franchise. You may request an application from us by phone or mail or by accessing the franchise candidate application available on this site.
